Is there any way to have it activate automatically when the print starts? Are there any spare parts available? Ibram Gaunt asked on May 3, 2026

Dear Customer,
We have a temporary workaround available for this issue. You can connect a thermostatically controlled outlet, and insert the temperature sensor fully into the upper position of the extruder cooler.
Please note this is an unofficial workaround rather than a polished official solution, and is therefore not formally supported by us.

What (i.e. Makerworld) model is available or attachment to allow the installation mounted to the top rear of my P2S using longer cover plate screws? What is the weight of the external cooling unit as I have the dimensions. I could join at the PTFE tube using your Y-connector or is that too far for the cooling to travel to be effective? Does it have to join inside the chamber nearer the toolhead? I have multiple AMS 2 Pros attached and H2c with 6 AMS 2 Pros and finally just purchased a H2s with 2 AMS 2 Pros. Is this going to be a problem. Will this unit provide the solution to my other machines allowing for dual PTFE tubes on the H2C? Gary Oyster asked on March 23, 2026

We have detailed installation user manual attached with the product. You can also find more details from "https://martillotech.com/help/". For all other detailed technical questions, please reach out to contactus@martillotech.com for technical assistance.

Hello, I recently purchased your cooler and I have an ams hub, how would I make sure that the cooling doesn’t hit all of the ams currently attached to my system? Annie asked on September 6, 2025

Hi Annie, we have a specially designed connector making sure the cool air won't hit AMS, and only goes into Extruder.

How did this work. I seeing the hookup and unless I'm wrong any air gets input into the system before the extruder which would seem to mean it would lower the temp of the filament before it gets extruded? Which means it would leave the nozzle at the same temp as it would without this system. David Weaver asked on January 30, 2025

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your interest in our products! We’re happy to assist.

If I understand correctly, you're seeking clarification about our design. Here’s a brief explanation from our engineer:

We use the same filament tube for both input materials and cooling air. While the cool air may slightly reduce the filament’s temperature inside the tube, the effect is minimal. The cool air is directed to the extruder's gears to cool the surrounding area (the "extruder chamber"), but it doesn't affect other components like the heat sink or nozzle.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Best regards,
X2Hamm
